Information shared during counselling is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed without your consent, except where disclosure is required or permitted by law. This may include situations where there is a serious and imminent risk to your safety or the safety of another person, where mandatory reporting obligations apply, where records are subpoenaed or otherwise required by a court, or where disclosure is otherwise authorised or required by law.

Client information and clinical records are stored securely using appropriate security measures designed to protect your privacy and comply with applicable legal and professional standards.

Your de-identified information may be discussed with a qualified clinical supervisor for the purposes of professional supervision and maintaining a high standard of client care. Clinical supervisors are also bound by professional confidentiality obligations.

You have the right to request access to your personal information and to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete information, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or appointments not attended, will incur an $80 cancellation fee.
